 ABOUT YORK WESTON TENNIS CLUB
YORK WESTON TENNIS Club is a non profit corporation, established in 1976. The Club operates under an agreement with the City of Toronto to lease and maintain its tennis facilities. The Club is situated in the Weston Lyons Park near the Humber River. Its four well maintained tennis courts are adjacent to hiking trails, public swimming pools, hockey and baseball facilities.
 THE CLUB IS conveniently located on the TTC route and there is ample parking for those who drive and cycle. There are about one hundred and fifty members with yearly fluctuations. Members include all levels of tennis prowess and persons from many different backgrounds. York-Weston Tennis Club takes pride in its community spirit and its ability to provide a variety of programs to meet the different interests of its membership. The Club opens with free tennis all weekend on the first weekend of May to welcome new members. After this weekend, everyone using the courts will be expected to have their memberships proudly displayed on their shoe tags at all times.
 HOUSE LEAGUE BEGINS in mid May, every Monday starting at 7:00 PM. The first event is a round robin. Membership registration forms allow you to sign-up for house league. If you miss the start date or sign-up or for more information, please email the club at yorkweston@yahoo.ca or phone the club at 416-243-7068. A weekend in May at noon is our opening day barbeque. This is a fun event where lunch and a round robin is provided free for all members.
 MONDAY NIGHT HOUSE league is fun tennis if you want to play without too much competition. While entrants are expected to have basic tennis skills, all levels of players are welcome. Our Club Pro gives lessons at very reasonable rates to members. Group lessons are on Wednesday evenings. Private lessons are arranged by appointment with the Club Pro. New members are always welcome.
